Question

Item 21303 is no longer working properly.

I purchased this item for my walk-in door on 3/2009 and it is already beginning to fail. Isn't this unusual? Would you suggest something different as a replacement?

The lifespan of a door closer depends on many factors such as size of the door and how often the walk-in is opened and closed daily. If the walk-in has heavy traffic or is a double size door you might consider a heavier duty closer like the one pictured below.
