After speaking with MagiKitch'n I've learned that they do still make the 1" steel burner. This burner is used on catering units, usually 30" or 60", on pre-'97 models. The part number you'll want is #3003-0280900. We don't currently sell this burner, but we special order for customers on a daily basis.
