I am sorry, because the Vita-Mix 3600 Plus is a residential blender we do not have any containers that will fit. You will need to contact Vita-Mix at 1.800.849.2649 to acquire the correct replacement blender container.

I am sorry, our parts do not fit residential Vita Mix blenders. The containers we have are designed differently for commercial blenders. I recommend visiting Vita Mix's site for the correct container.

Unfortunately, the container you're looking at will not fit your maxi-4000. And you're right, the old Vitamix blenders have a male piece on the base, and a female piece on the container. The new ones are the opposite, with male container bottoms going into the female blender base. For those old models, your best bet would be to search on ebay, as those containers/parts have been discontinued from the manufacturer.

The base for "Advance" series is larger than that of the "Standard Prep" series. Our recommendation would be the Vitamix 15981 (Tundra# 69909) or 15978 (Tundra #69905).
