Will this product work to MAKE A CHOCOLATE MOLD - I want to cast a polymer clay and wood figure ... front and back. Will I need a release agent?

How long will this product stay workable?
What is the curing time?

add cornstarch to allow the cure to be more even and make it into more of a clay to work with

This silicone sealant is FDA and NSF approved. As far as a release agent, you will need to be more specific. It skins over in 15 minutes so workability will be less time than that. As far as curing time, there is no info available from the manufacturer. Temperature and humidity will affect that time. If I had to guess, I'd say 12 - 24 hours.

Temperature Specs for CHG M90-1010 Silicone Sealant:
Operating Temperature Range: -76°F to 350°F continuous, intermittent to 400°F.
