This push to connect quick disconnect coupling contains a thermal shutoff feature which is a polymer ring located inside the nipple that will melt and close the gas supply valve if the temperature rises above 350° F (177° C). SnapFast also features a push to connect feature which allows the coupling's components to be joined quickly by simply pushing them together until they snap into place. There is no need to hold or slide the operating ring. Both ends of the connecter are female.

Is this quick connect able to be used with Natural Gas or LP Gas?
I have a auxiliary generator that is able to operate on Natural Gas or LP Gas. I am looking for Quick Connect that I can move the hose from either the quick connect socket on the LP Tank or to the Natural Gas outlet on the side of the building.

I believe it should work for both types of gas... as long as you have the proper fittings on your feed lines.

This quick disconnect will work for both LP and Natural gas. It is primarily for indoor use and rated at 32°F. We do not recommend it for lower temperatures.
