This safety valve does not have a pilot adjustment on it. Any adjustments to the pilot should be made on the pilot valve itself.

The answer is, it depends on how old your IR-6 is. The 41434 1/4" TS Safety Valve will work on IR-6 models that were made in 1999 or earlier. If your IR-6 model has a large red button on it (meaning it's a newer model, according to Imperial tech. support) this safety valve will not work. You will need the Imperial 1110-1 model. We carry this safety valve, and I've attached the product below. One or the other should work for your IR-6 oven.

The safety valve you need depends on the type you are replacing. If you are replacing a BASO with large red button you need #1415703. If you have a TS11 with a dime size red button you need #G01479-01. Please see below.
