Question
Imperial range - Oven temp goes too high
replaced this thermo but over still soars way above set temp. (Low stabzlizes at 375, 250 goes to 450)
Cannot adjust flame any lower using bypass screw adjustment. Will the adjuctment in the middle of the know allow downward adjustment?

We will need more info to determine the problem but it sounds like your thermostat is stuck or may not be the exact OEM number of the one you just replaced. I would call a local service tech or our sales team to further diagnose the problem. 1.888.388.6372

Question
Controls for a Jade gas griddle
I bought a used Jade 36" griddle. It has the Jade RobertShaw knobs but they rotate clockwise and start with HI and then moves to cooler temps. I've noticed that the controls are Inversys controls.
Although the unit works, we rotate through Hi first and then to a temp that we cannot trust with respect to actual temperature on the surface.
I thinking that the dude that rebuilt this unit used non standard controls but the original knobs.
So, I either think I need to replace all three controls (eek, expensive!) or find the knobs for the Inversys controls I have in the unit.
Any Ideas?

If you're Jade griddle is model number JGT-2436, then this is indeed the thermostat/dial combo that you would want if you were going to replace each control.
Alternatively, I've attached just the dial below. If turned clockwise it starts on the low setting. I don't know if it's your Inversys thermostat that's starting on high once turned clockwise. If this is the case, the new knob won't help judge temperature as it starts on low when your griddle starts on high.
If you can provide your griddle's model number we may be able to assist you further.
