Is this a pvc or metal globe base ? I wish to mount the glass globe and globe base (not the base the conduit would mount into) into a existing pvc lig

Is this a pvc or metal globe base ? I wish to mount the glass globe and globe base (not the base the conduit would mount into) into a existing pvc light box. PVC would be my preferred material and without the "conduit base"

I am sorry, the fixture body and junction box are made of die cast aluminum.
