Hi Tom. Thanks for reaching out to Tundra Restaurant Supply with your question.

After speaking with Hobart I've learned they sell a 1512 model slicer as well as a 512 model (different slicers), and this particular sharpening assembly fits the 512 model but not the 1512.

That said, I've tracked down the parts list for your 1512 slicer. On page 15 you'll find the replacement parts for the grinder unit, and at the bottom of this list is the R-24460 Sharpening Device. This is the part you want.
