I'd recommend you call Vitamix direct at 800 848 2649 with your model and serial number, so you can verify that part 891 is what you need. If it is, feel free to order that part from us, and disregard what it says about commercial use only. Part 891 is part 891, there isn't a special commercial or residential version.

Unfortunately, without the serial number of your unit we can't be certain if this Vita-Mix 891 Drive Socket will fit. Over the years Vita-Mix has made changes to their various models, and without a serial number they cannot be sure what replacement parts are needed, if your model is still under warranty, or if additional parts are needed.
