on wall mounting

How do you mount this thermometer on the wall of refrigerator? I can see that it has a piece for hanging it. Is that hanging mount 'stretchable' to put over slightly broader bars on a rack? And if you spread it to hang it over a larger bar, will it retract to its original size?

Yes, you can stretch the plastic mounting piece to fit over refrigeration shelving. The plastic will retract to its original size once placed over the shelving or removed. I have attached a couple images to give you a better visual of how the mounting piece works. You can stretch the plastic piece to create a 1/2" - 3/4" opening.
