Looking for Answers about Vita-Mix Vita-Prep 64 oz Commercial Food Blender?

This blender will slice fruit and extract some juice but its purpose is to blend ingredients. The Vita-Prep produces purees, grinds whole spices & grains and chops vegetables and fruit. If you are looking for a machine that will extract large amounts of juice you may want to consider an electric juicer.

You should have received a recipe book with your Vita Prep blender that has a salsa recipe in it.

Using six ripe tomatoes quartered, run it at Low Variable #3 for 5-10 seconds, until coarsely chopped. If you use one can (16 oz) stewed tomatoes, run it at low variable#2 for 3-5 second or until chunky.

The recipe book also includes all the seasoning to use.

Though this blender will work for smoothies, I recommend getting a heavy duty drink blender. I have attached servel below that will work great for smoothies and will definietly hold up to the everyday demands of your establishment.
