They are not exactly the same but they are very similar to one another. The paring knife on our website is for commercial use and 6.7703 is for residential use.
I am looking for the 4 inch paring knife, Victorinox item# 5.0703 which has more of a curved spear point like Tundra No.: 97582 than the photo for Tundra No.: 96901 . Is it possible that Tundra No.: 96901 has the wrong photo?
They have the same paring knife blade but with different color handles. I have attached an image of what we have in our inventory so you can see the comparison.
The color coded handles are for food safety purposes:
Red Handles = Raw Beef or Lamb Blue Handles = Raw Seafood Yellow Handles = Raw Poultry Green Handles = Raw Vegetables Purple Handles = Food Allergen Back and White Handles are for whatever you decide
Yes, the handle of the Victorinox/Forschner 4" Black Paring Knife is similar to the 3 1/4" paring knife. I pulled both knives from our warehouse and the handles are identical in feel/texture, shape, and style.
