They are not exactly the same but they are very similar to one another. The paring knife on our website is for commercial use and 6.7703 is for residential use.

Question

blade shape same as Tundra No.: 97582?

Does this knife:
Mfg: Victorinox / Forschner
Mfg. No.: 40501
Tundra No.: 96901

have the same blade shape as:

Mfg: Victorinox / Forschner
Mfg. No.: 42605
Tundra No.: 97582

I am looking for the 4 inch paring knife, Victorinox item# 5.0703 which has more of a curved spear point like Tundra No.: 97582 than the photo for Tundra No.: 96901 . Is it possible that Tundra No.: 96901 has the wrong photo?

They have the same paring knife blade but with different color handles. I have attached an image of what we have in our inventory so you can see the comparison.

The color coded handles are for food safety purposes:

Red Handles = Raw Beef or Lamb
Blue Handles = Raw Seafood
Yellow Handles = Raw Poultry
Green Handles = Raw Vegetables
Purple Handles = Food Allergen
Back and White Handles are for whatever you decide

Yes, the handle of the Victorinox/Forschner 4" Black Paring Knife is similar to the 3 1/4" paring knife. I pulled both knives from our warehouse and the handles are identical in feel/texture, shape, and style.
