You could consider the coupe-style pizza pan to be a "regular" pizza pan, whereas other styles have more specific functions like the deep dish pan (for deeper pizzas) and the CAR pan (has sharp edges so you can cut the dough with the pan). The coupe-style is what I would call a traditional or normal pizza pan.
