Question

Can the OneFlow® 8 GPM Hot Water Scale Media Replacement be used with a closed loop radiant heat with heat source a Remi tankless water heater?

I have a radiant heat floor system where the hot water is supplied by a Remi tankless water heater. I am experiencing sever scaling and need to install a inline filter to minimize the scaling efforts.

Hi Ernie, thanks for reaching out to Tundra Restaurant Supply with your question.

In speaking with one of our technicians I found that, yes, you can use the Dormont DOR-OF817-8HRM OneFlow Hot Water Scale Media Replacement with your Remi tankless water heater. Our technician also mentioned that you can use the below product for your needs as well (I've attached a product for your convenience). That said, I was told that you may want to consider an actual water softener instead if your water is that hard.
