Technically the Winco 41607 Utility Knife is not a paring knife, but it can perform most if not all tasks you would tackle with a paring knife. If you're looking to purchase this knife as a replacement/substitute for a paring knife it would be a fine blade for paring knife practices.

The blade is a little longer than traditional paring knives giving it cutting abilities (like rocking the blade for slicing) that you might not get from a paring knife.
