Thanks for contacting Tundra Restaurant Supply. We're happy to help with customer questions. In regards to the International Tableware TR-10-AW Triangular Plate - the difference between European White and American White is that the American White is more of an off-white, where the European White is what is more traditionally considered "white".
Each plate weighs approximately 2 lbs., and the plates only come in the European and American whites. Unfortunately I'm not exactly sure what you mean about the plate falling into a dinner plate, as I can't be sure which plates you're talking about in particular. I think it will all depend on the size and shape of the plates in question.
I apologize, but I'm not entirely sure what you mean by dip like a bowl. The International Tableware TR-10-AW Triangular Plate does have an indentation on the top (it is not flat), but I would not recommend using it as you would a bowl. Regarding the bottom of the plate, it does not dip any more than a traditional dinner plate would.
