Good question! Basically, after calling the manufacturer, they were not really able to tell me if it was "induction ready." They said it's aluminized steel. Steel is magnetic, but the aluminized coating may limit it's effectiveness in an induction scenario. However, there are some aluminized steel cookware pieces that are induction compatible (I found this out after I searched this topic on google). In general, stainless steel is the sure bet for induction cooking. So, I guess the best answer I can give you is "maybe" regarding the Nordicware omelette pan you initially inquired about.
